1 Day PAT Training Course (at your premises)
Why not train one or more of your staff to PAT Test? Save yourself some money and
take control.
We will visit your site at a mutually agreeable time and train from 1 to 12 members of
staff to inspect and test your electrical equipment in accordance with the IEE Code of
Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (3rd Edition).
As with all of our PAT Training courses, we ensure delegates are instructed in PAT Testing
theory and practice, from identifying faults with plugs, fuses and flexes to electrical
testing of appliances with PAT Test equipment. If you have your own test equipment we
would be pleased to show your staff how to use it correctly.
What do we need to train at your site?
•
A training/meeting room where we won’t be disturbed
•
230V mains power supply
•
Chairs for all delegates and 2 tables
•
Refreshments for the delegates (to be taken during scheduled breaks)
We will come equipped with a selection of electrical appliances for the delegates to
inspect and test. In order to accelerate the learning process and consolidate knowledge,
the delegates will be required to sit a number of multiple choice tests and practical exercises. Each delegate will be assessed
throughout the day and will be awarded a certificate of achievement if they pass the final test and practical exercise.
Typical PAT Testing Course content includes:
